Amber
Amber is an outside kitty.She had a sister
who was very similar in
coloring, but slightly paler, and had an oval spot on her forehead that reminded me of an Opal, so that was her name. Amber's name eluded me for a while, but I knew she needed a 'jewel' name, to match her sister. For some reason I thought of a mystery novel called 'Darker Than Amber', and since she was 'Darker Than' her name became Amber. She's a mild-mannered cat, and seldom bothers the birds or lizards or mice and is happy to spend most of her day sleeping. At night, however, I think she goes off with Elvis and the Aliens and performs Rock 'n Roll. In this photo she is obviously considering her next stage performance on Alpha Centauri. -Marian M |
